It gives me immense pleasure to welcome all the students of Under graduate and Post graduate courses at D.M. College Moga which is a renowned and premier institution of the state. Located in the heart of the city, D.M. College Moga is the cynosure of all eyes. The college is endowed with a progressive and futuristic outlook with a sense of commitment to meet the expectations of the students, parents and society at large. Our mission is to transform the students into rational thinkers, competent workers, law abiding citizens and spiritually enlightened individuals. Sh. Sudarshan Sharma, President, D.M. College Managing Committee is the soul behind the over-all development.
The college was founded in 1926 by Rai Bahadur Dr. Mathradas Pahwa, Keser-i-Hind, a celebrated eye surgeon, philanthropist and staunch Arya Smajist with the sole aim of propagating the Ayra Samaj ideals and imparting higher education based on Vedic culture propounded by Swami Dayanand Sarswati.
To achieve this goal we have well qualified, devoted and conscientious staff, labs equipped with latest apparatus in the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Office Management, Fashion Designing, eco-friendly premises with lush green lawns and spacious play grounds.
The college is the set to scale new heights in the fields of academies,co-curricular and extra curricular activities in the near future by imbibing the lofty principles and ideals of Arya Samaj.
The college runs courses in B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, BCA, M.A. (English, Hindi, Punjabi), M.Sc. Mathematics, PGDCA along with career oriented courses like Fashion Designing, Insurance Business, Computer Based Accounting. The college has a plan to spread its wings to future and reach the new skies by way of expanding infrastructure and introducing professional and career oriented courses.
