Eligibility for Admission to M.Sc. Mathematics I Semester

Admission to M.Sc. Mathematics I semester is open to candidates having Bachelors' Degree in Science or Arts with Mathematics with atleast 50% marks in the aggregate or with 45% marks in the subject of Mathematics.

There will be four semesters, each semester having five theory papers.

* ADMISSION SHALL BE MADE ON THE BASIS OF MERIT DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF SEATS AVAILABLE.

Master of Arts Punjabi(M.A.- Pbi)

Eligibility for Admission to M.A-Pbi I Semester

Admission to M.A.Punjabi I semester shall be open to a student who has

  1. Passed BA III (Hons.) in subject of Post-graduation. Passed in B. A. III obtaining atleast 45% marks in the subject of Post-graduation.
  2. Passed Bachelor's Degree in any faculty with alteast 50% marks in aggregate.
  3. Master's Degree in any other subject or in any faculty
  4. Student having compartment in one subject in B.A/B.Sc. III examination must obtain atleast 45% marks in the subject of post-graduation will be admitted provisionally. If such a student fails to clear the compartment in the next two chances, then his provisional admission to M.A. I shall be considered as cancelled because fulfilling the eligibility conditions laid down by Panjab university, Chandigarh is mandatory for each student.

Eligibility for Admission to M.A. III Semester

Admission to M.A. Punjabi III semester shall be open to a student who has

  1. Passed in M.A first year or placed under Compartment by Panjab University, Chandigarh
  2. Students who have passed M.A. I from Kurukshetra University/Maharishi Dayanand University/Punjabi University/Guru Nanak Dev University/ Himachal Pradesh University are eligible.

* ADMISSION SHALL BE MADE ON THE BASIS OF MERIT DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF SEATS AVAILABLE.

Eligibility for Admission to M.A-Hindi I Semester

Admission to M.A.Hindi I semester shall be open to a student who has
